Testing some website colors. I've been watching some stuff by Adam Curtis, who uses a lot of brightly coloured text over top of jarring images. It can look amateur, slapped together, and yet it derives authority from that same lack of polish. It conveys urgency. And no one would lie to us via something that looks so awful.
I also watched 'Montana', a new video from Tycho. The colours in the video were beautiful, so I stole them, and that's what you're seeing here. Solid shapes convey them much more effectively.
